Terms of Service
Last updated: June 7, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using EventQR (“Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of service
EventQR provides a platform for creating, managing, and tracking dynamic QR codes for use at events. The Service includes QR code generation, scan analytics, team management, and related features as described on our website.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or other harmful content
- Infringe any intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm any person
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by Paddle. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Your continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6. Free plan limits
The free plan includes up to 500 scans per month. Exceeding this limit pauses analytics recording; QR code redirects continue to function. To restore full analytics, upgrade to a paid plan.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content (URLs, QR code configurations) you create using the Service. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.
EventQR, its logo, and all platform software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
8. Service availability
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the QR redirect endpoint on Enterprise plans. No uptime guarantee is provided for free or self-service paid plans, though we aim for the same reliability. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventQR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost revenue from QR codes that fail to redirect. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will delete your data within 30 days (see our Privacy Policy).
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Stockholm, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
